The Day of Discovery is a free immersive experience for children and youth (ages 2–12), held in alignment with the 31st Commemoration of the MAAFA at St. Paul Community Baptist Church-a sacred remembrance of our history.

Rooted in the spirit of Joy, the Day of Discovery invites children to journey through our story with imagination, movement, creativity, storytelling, and ritual.

Free registration required. Snacks provided. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Participation Consent

I, the parent or legal guardian, give permission for my child to participate in the children’s programming during the 31st Commemoration of The MAAFA (September 20, 2025) hosted by St. Paul Community Baptist Church.

I understand that this programming may include age-appropriate activities related to cultural education, storytelling, art, music, spiritual reflection, and movement. I acknowledge that reasonable care and supervision will be provided at all times.

Medical Release

In the event of an emergency, I authorize the staff or volunteers of St. Paul Community Baptist Church to seek appropriate medical attention for my child. I understand that I will be contacted immediately using the contact information provided above.
