WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH 2026
Architects of Faith: Designing the Future of the Village
St. Paul Community Baptist Church
Throughout Scripture and history, women have served as architects of faith — laying foundations, strengthening institutions, organizing movements, and proclaiming resurrection in moments of uncertainty. They have built what others would later inhabit. They have shaped structures that continue to sustain the village.
This Women's History Month, St. Paul Community Baptist Church proudly presents Architects of Faith: Designing the Future of the Village, a month-long celebration honoring five dynamic women whose leadership reflects sacred design and courageous construction.
We are honored to welcome:
-
Rev. Kimberly Council, Assistant Pastor, Greater Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Deputy Borough President of Brooklyn
-
Rev. Dr. Lisa Jenkins Brown, Founder, LJB Global Connections
-
Rev. Racquel Gill, Public Theologian, Cultural Critic & Educator
-
Rev. Erika Gault, Ph.D., Director of CSAARL and the Lilly Endowment Curator of African American Religious History at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.
-
Rev. Dr. Emma Jordan-Simpson, President, Auburn Seminary
These women are preachers, scholars, public servants, theologians, and visionary leaders. Their work stretches from the pulpit to policy, from the classroom to the community. Each embodies the blueprint of faith in action — building with integrity, leading with courage, and expanding the church's reach beyond its walls.
At St. Paul, we understand that the village is strongest when every gift is honored and every calling affirmed. The blueprint of this house bears the fingerprints of faithful women whose leadership is not supplemental — it is structural.
Join us each Sunday in March as we listen, learn, and continue building together.
