Cherub Ruth

Cherub Alethia Ruth, serves the St Paul Community Baptist Church as the Director of Sacred Arts. The Director of Sacred Arts is considered the “producer” of each worship service and special program. Cherub ensures that the vision of the pastor and message of Christ is conveyed through the ministry of the arts and media during service and events. Cherub strives to present these various forms of art (music, dance, drama, media) making sure they are biblically sound, diverse, and presented in an aesthetically rich and pleasing atmosphere. She is a professional singer, published songwriter, playwriter, and producer. She is a graduate of the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts for vocal music and she holds a B.S. in Entertainment Technology for Media and Project Management from CUNY B.A. Cherub is the proud daughter of Jimmy and the late Sylvia Lane Dyson Ruth, 1 of 7 siblings, the Auntie-Mom of Lyric-Chanel and Laylah Dyson, and mother of twins Sélah Jordyn and Joni Lane.
