UBUNTU PRAYER SURVEY

Boyceweb_edited_edited.jpg

Greetings, my name is Elder Linda Boyce. I am currently a student at McCormick Theological Seminary, pursuing my Masters of Divinity Degree in Sacred Memory. My thesis for class completion is centered around Ubuntu Prayer.

I am requesting your participation in a brief survey.

Please complete the survey by Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Thank you for your time and participation!

Our identity as persons is formed through one another. We reflect God’s image more truthfully when we honor the humanity in each other.  Ubuntu reminds us that God created us to live in community, to bear one another’s burden, and to honor the image of God in every person. In Ubuntu, we affirm that my life is bound up with yours, and together we become who God calls us to be. I am, because you are.

(GENESIS 1:27, GALATIANS 6:2, ROMANS 12:5, PHILIPPIANS 2:4)

What are your thoughts about our current congregational call for prayer?
