Joseph Smith

Elder Joseph Smith resides in East New York, Brooklyn. He was married to Margie, the love of his life for 42 years. He has one daughter, Chevelle Smith and three grandchildren: Darell, Jawan and Andreana. After thirty-six years he retired from the Borough of Manhattan Community College as the Higher Education Association Administrative Supervisor.
Elder Smith obtained his General Business Management Degree (AAS) in 1983 at the Borough of Manhattan Community College and his BA Degree in Liberal Arts in 1997 from City College. He has been a Personal Financial Advisor/Planner for 15 years, providing strategies for maximizing cash flow, minimizing taxes, eliminating debt and building future investments. He has been a member of St. Paul Community Baptist Church for 26 years.
During his time at St. Paul, he is currently serving and/or has served in a myriad of roles including: Board of Elders , Co-Chairman of the Stewards of the Stewards Board of Trustees, Eldad-Medad Men’s Bible Study, Leadership Warrior Council, Eldad-Medad Men’s Dance Ministry , African Justice Ministry , Simeon Guild Ministry.
