Fernando Layne

Fernando Layne was born on January 22 in Colon, Republic of Panama, to Ms. Lucille E. Layne and Eric Garcia. After graduating from Rainbow City Canal Zone High School, he migrated to the United States in 1970. Fernando served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1973, receiving an honorable discharge.

In 1974, Fernando married Yolanda V. Stephens, and they have four children: Yuriel, Lamar, Lionel, and Joy, along with five grandchildren. Fernando joined SPCBC in 1983, became a Man-In-Training in 1985, and was consecrated to the Board of Elders in 1988. He has served in various ministries, including Eldad-Medad, New Members Class, Witnessing, and Redemptive Turf. His favorite scripture is Philippians 4:6-7.
