Dafina Westbrooks

Dafina Azima Westbrooks is a Child of God who is also a child of St. Paul, whose life story has literally been written within the walls of this church. Born on September 4, she got her educational start at the St. Paul Community Christian School under the tutelage of Bishop Dr. Ray Youngblood, Ms. Mary McCormick, Ms. Emily Walton, and many other people of God. This biblically based academic foundation gave her an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, leading her to graduate from Williams College in Williamstown,
Massachusetts. She later earned a Master of Science in Childhood and Special Education at Brooklyn College and School Building Leadership Certification at Baruch College. With this training, Dafina has become a school leader who has transformed and led schools for 18 years to ensure all students have an equitable education. She has won teaching awards, is a member of several educational leadership groups and is a published writer. Dafina currently resides in Queens, New York, and enjoys travel, fine dining,
and spa days.

Her favorite scripture is Psalm 1.
