Arelethia LaBorde

Arelethia "Lisa" Yvette Green LaBorde was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, with cultural roots in Garfield, Georgia. The youngest of six children, Lisa was named after her beloved maternal grandmother. She is married to Richard A. LaBorde, and their 27-year union has been blessed with one daughter, Yakira Monet LaBorde, who is now 23 years old.

Lisa and Richard planted their Christian roots deeply into the culturally astute St. Paul Community Baptist Church in Brooklyn, where Lisa has been an active member for 25 years. Over the years, Lisa has served in various capacities, including SOE (Sister of Esther), Co-Captain of the Diamond Jewel Collective, Advisor to the Emerald Collective, HSSP (Honoring the Spirit of Shiphrah & Puah) Baby Dedication Team, Maafa volunteer, Jewel retreat organizer, and CWJ (Council of Wise Jewel) member. She currently serves as an Elder Servant Leader.

Lisa embraces John 3:16 as her guiding scripture: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." This verse inspires her commitment to service, love, belief, and purpose. Lisa enjoys traveling, mentoring young women, yoga, cultural experiences, ministry, and nurturing meaningful relationships.
