The Struggle Continues
It is 2011. 148 years after the Emancipation Proclamation, 146 years after the 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified and 46 years after the Voting Rights Act was enacted. Today, we’re faced with nooses on college professors’ doors, nooses in police station restrooms and nooses hanging in public places. Everyday, African American men are pulled over for “driving while Black” or because they “fit the description….”.
What’s changed?
MAAFA... The Struggle Continues is a depiction of racism as we see, live and know it today.
