The Healing Ministry of St. Paul Community Baptist Church is a heart centered ministry which focuses on love and compassion for those who are in need of mind, body and spiritual healing of any kind. The ministry exists as an extension of Christ’s commission to all of us to heal one another, just as Jesus healed. Modalities used include prayer, meditation, the laying on of hands and anointing with oils. Assessment, spiritual counseling, referrals and follow-up of members of the congregation and staff who are being challenged by disease, illness, pain, emotional pain and injury are used to aide in healing. The ministry consists of members with various background training in healing.

The MAAFA Quilters are a group that focus on healing through different forms of basic and art in cloth. This group provides teaching, support and assistance to participants.

The African Justice Ministry is a group of people who study the disparities of African American people to aide in bringing about justice for those who have and are still suffering from the injustices of the remnants of slavery. A strong emphasis is placed on the study of AIDS/HIV in different African American communities in the United States and Africa and other primarily black areas of the world. There is a major focus on government and its policies that affect these efforts.
