DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY
In 1979, SPCBC moved to revitalize the teaching ministry of our church. In that the Discipleship Ministry, built on the foundation of the church of Jesus Christ, is the ministry through which all Bible study classes are planned and executed.  Discipleship also is charged with providing the curriculum to train prospect teachers and providing biblical based outreach opportunities so all can grow in the power of the resurrected Christ.

ANDREW GUILD

Witnessing team to present the gospel to some and reassure others of their salvation. (John 1:40-41, John 6:8-9, John 12:20-22)

HSSP (Honoring the Spirit of Shiprah and Puah) a.k.a. Baby Dedication Ministry
This ministry addresses the biblical concept of parenting, the responsibility of parent to child and child to parent.  Our foundation is based on scriptures that focus on what God has to say about the rearing of children in His Word.

THE DAYTIME MINISTRY

In early 1994 a clarion call was issued to all seniors, retirees, babysitters and evening workers to participate in a spirit-inspired One Hour Watch, to be held during the day on a weekday.  It became known as Noon Day Watch and later those who would lead it, “The Daytime Ministry”. This service, held on Wednesdays from 10am-1pm, has grown by leaps and bounds. (Matt. 25:13). Contact: Rev. Dr. Tim Harris, ext. 435

THE GATEKEEPERS

St. Paul has always had an Usher Board. The Ushers participated in nationally recognized church ushering events, conferences and associations.  In later years, leadership recognized the need to change the name of our Usher Board to Gatekeepers, keeping in line with the biblical concept (I Chron. 22,23,24,25,26).  The SPCBC Gatekeepers Ministry has 50+ members and has taken on a new approach as to what is means to serve during services and sacred times in our ministry from a biblical perspective.

S.O.W.E.R.S. (aka the Teaching Ministry)
The S.O.W.E.R.S. Ministry was implemented to train teachers to be educators of the Bible to children as well as adults. Held once a month at 5am, this intensive study provides prospective teachers an avenue to pray and study together as well as plan their lessons for their classes. Through this committed method of training and preparation, over 300  teachers have been produced for the purpose of teaching Bible and other related topics in our ministry.
